Academic Support
This group helps students succeed academically. Students identify barriers to success and work to overcome them in the group.
Divorce Support Group
This group meets every other Wednesday, by grade, during the exploratory period and runs for six weeks. Students are responsible for making up missed work and are counted as a school related absence. Students have an opportunity to share their feelings, and learn positive coping skills do deal with their family situations. The group is facilitated by Susan Hinton. Grief Support Group
The Grief group is facilitated by a representative of Heartland Hospice. The group will run for 6 weeks, It is open to students in all grades. Students have an outlet to share their feelings and explore grief and the mourning process.
Anxiety Support Group
This group helps students gain the necessary skills to deal with anxiety, self-esteem, friendships, relationships and social issues.
Life Skills Group
This group is offered through Hope Network and is facilitated by Lorraine Reischling a prevention specialist. The group is offered to students in all 3 grades. The group will run for 12 weeks and cover the following topics:
